SUPERIOR SHELTER

A remote retreat recalling the three-sided shelters found along the North Country Trail. The structure is built of full-scribed white pine logs, left exposed inside and out.

Conceived as an unplugged gathering place, it operates without running water or electricity. A central bay opens toward the lake and sky. A raised sleeping platform is enclosed on three sides by hand-scribed log walls.

A simple shed roof extends beyond the enclosure, forming a protected threshold and framing long views across the water.
